During the day I help clients get more out of their advertising, in the afternoon I am with my family and in the evening I look after a world full of fairy tales.

I have been fully focused on PPC since 2015 and I still enjoy it.

My name is Josef Folta, but everyone calls me Pepa. I use it in emails, greetings and even in my head, so if you ever write to me as “Josef”, it may take me a moment to realise you mean me.

I come from Wallachia in the east of the Czech Republic, specifically from Vsetín, and I live in Prague. I have a wonderful wife, three great kids and plenty of things that keep me going: family, friends, PPC, web projects, walks in the city and in nature, and the occasional trip.

I missed working in a team, so I work with other PPC specialists and now and then take on subcontracting for friends in online marketing.

About this website

pepafolta.cz is simple and reflects reality: I can build websites, but I do not want to be a web developer. I am a PPC specialist. I only take on a few new clients so that I can keep giving my existing ones proper attention. That is why you will not find all my references here, which does not mean I am idle: everything else simply comes before updating the website. If you would like specific references, I am happy to send them on request.

How time went by

Before 2008: Offline life, various jobs, but I liked work where I could help people the most.

2008: Started in online marketing as an HTML/CSS coder at ESMEDIA in Olomouc.

2010: Finished my bachelor’s degree in social pedagogy in Zlín and kept gaining experience.

2011: Started my own business in websites and online marketing.

2015: Joined H1.cz as a PPC specialist in Prague.

2016: Launched Pohádkozem, a website with stories for children to read.

2017: Our son Honza was born.
