I am a freelance PPC consultant and the person behind Pohádkozem, a network of bedtime story websites. During the day I help clients get more out of their advertising, in the afternoon I am with my family and in the evening I look after a world full of fairy tales.
I have been fully focused on PPC since 2015 and I still enjoy it.
My name is Josef Folta, but everyone calls me Pepa. I use it in emails, greetings and even in my head, so if you ever write to me as “Josef”, it may take me a moment to realise you mean me.
I come from Wallachia in the east of the Czech Republic, specifically from Vsetín, and I live in Prague. I have a wonderful wife, three great kids and plenty of things that keep me going: family, friends, PPC, web projects, walks in the city and in nature, and the occasional trip.
I missed working in a team, so I work with other PPC specialists and now and then take on subcontracting for friends in online marketing.
pepafolta.cz is simple and reflects reality: I can build websites, but I do not want to be a web developer. I am a PPC specialist. I only take on a few new clients so that I can keep giving my existing ones proper attention. That is why you will not find all my references here, which does not mean I am idle: everything else simply comes before updating the website. If you would like specific references, I am happy to send them on request.

I am accountable for results, not hours spent. Instead of meetings I write briefly and in plain language, automated checks watch the accounts and I make changes step by step.

Thanks to my background in web development, I spend some spare time on my own projects. They help me in my work, or simply make me happy.

The Wallachian-Czech dictionary is one of my first projects, as I come from Wallachia. The Hanakian one followed when I lived in Olomouc for two years.
